I dont think there are manny HMTers in this area.God dam I miss my civic....well not really. The Dodge threw a rod on the way down here(i guess the 16 foot trailer was too much for it :-X) and I bought myself a Ford f250diesel.
Man that thing has some crazy power. It feels good to drive a truck on crazy boost. Its never enough though.Im allready looking at a Banks kit that will up the HP by 200 an the TQ by 300 on 22 psi.Its gonna be crazy driving a truck with 700lbtq :o

I know the house is paid for but Im allready missing work. And the money that was left over is going really quick. We spent 9gs on just furnishing 1/2 the house. This is gonna get really expensive really, really, fast.

The good thing is that I got my first un-employment check last week :P

Kyle Im in Denton county.Thats just one county up from Dallas county.

As strange as it sounds I like it here.

We came to visit some friends of ours that live in the same comunity and my wife an I loved it.Once we found out that if we sold our house in Cali we could buy 3 times the house(size wise) here we just had to do it.Its also a really good place to raise kids.60% of all yearly taxes goes to schools im my county. Its not like Cali where kids are stuffed 35 in a bungalo that they call class rooms.

I think once I raise my kids Ill move back to Cali...that is if its sill there :P

Holy ----! :o Look who it is! How the hell are ya? You can't just be taking time off from HMT like that. You don't have a job so I expect you on here 24/7 from now on.

So who got the Civic? I wish I could have got it. That's fucked up. Normally a modded car wouldn't be my target, but I know the work was done by a pro. ;)

Glad to see your back(or are you?). :)

See my sig.......

Most of Texas still has corporal punishment in schools.Meaning if you don't beahave they will whoop your ass with a board in the front of the class. This is the main reason I believe texas has a good school system. The other is they spend a shitload of money on education.

---- Yeah. I mean who really wants their ------ kids to not have any manners. When you end up going to school with corporal punishment its yes sir and yes maam and no sir and no maam. I speak from experience. All schools need corporal punishment or the option for it. There is still some parents that don't believe in old fashioned discipline and their kids are treated like pussies in school cuz mommy and daddy don't believe in whoopin a kid's ass. In my eyes I was raised up right and there is consequences for actions, like a good old fashioned ass whoopin.

Its an 01.It only had 48k miles on it.That thing rules! The only thing is that its loud as ----.

I was only making 70K a year. The reason I was able to pay it off was couse I made so much off the sale of my old house.I bought that house in 98 for $168k and sold it for $480K.I owed $223k on it when I sold it.It cost me $24k in realtor fees(the seller allwasy pays for both realtors >:().

So with a deal like that I couldnt pass on the opertunity to flat out own my own house.Even if it was away from my fam.

Some times you just got to do whats good for you and your fam(wife and kids) :-\.

Thats funny that you mention that couse my wife and I were talking about that the other day.We came to the conclusion that thats why this state is in such good moral and financial state.Poeple here care about where they live.I dont think I have seen anny grafity on anny walls here yet.The roads look like some one cleans them every day.People houses look clean and well maintaned.I can see why people are so proud to be from Texas. Most of them are raised with good morrals.

Another reason is that here you have the right to use anny force nesesary to protect your property. That also means that if you come home and find some guy nailing you wife its ok to shoot them both. Its different here.

welcome to tx,

I live in lewisville, wich is about 10 minutes from you. The import scene here is kind of fucked up. It just to be verrrry big and then the cops shut it down pretty hard, now nobody ever meets up or does anything anymore.

At the target in lewisville off of 35 all of the local ricers meet up on wednesdays and a few of the h-t people meet up there as well.

There is a 1/8 mile track about 20 minutes north of you, and there is a 1/4 mile track about hour 15 minutes south in a town called ennis.

as far as local shops go, jotech, intercrew, and vsv.

Wow.You live really close.I didnt think annyone on this board would live closer to me than Houston.

I can tell that the scene here is dead.thats a good thing IMO.

The state troopers seem like pricks here too.I allways see 2 or 3 at a time with the radar guns out on the side of the road.Thats why I decided to leave the civic behind.

LOL state trooper sucks ass, i do my best to stay out of there path.

Civic theft is on the rise hardcore, my si was stolen twice, pretty much all of my freinds si's were stolen as well.

In corinth you should have it made though, there is 0 crime, the only thing you have to watch out for is the troopers hanging out by the lake. There are plenty of serious enthusiast around here, but you really wont see them unless you go up to ennis, wich this year theyve been remodeling , so this years racing has been pretty much non existant.
