how would i break this weld?

here is a pic, i need to break the weld, already tried flathead + hammer = no workie.

The breaking method I would use would be cutting it. Or a bigger hammer. Your pic doesnt work either.

No Pic, but a Die Grinder with a cut off wheel, a 4.5" Grinder, or Air Hammer ALWAYS works.

however to break a weld. I would usually use a grinder.
or whatever items that you may have handy...

Judging by the picture I would say you're fucked. You're better off starting all over with fresh material.
