How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems(book)
How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman
I just recieved this book a few days ago and I've been reading a few things here and there and damn, this is a really good handbook for everyone to read. It's very detailed and up to date.
I recommend it to everyone that is interested in learning about tuning. great thing about it, that its not juts Honda involved.

I read about those management books before. It seemed there were two main ones that people were reading, and one of them was said to be too basic and not in depth. So this one isn't that one right?
Was the other one written by the owner/operator of efi101?

just look up the title
to stealth. I dont know about the other book. I know there are a few, and i have some others, like High Performance Honda Builder's Handbook, volumes 1 and 2 by Joe Pettitt
Those are good, and are basic, so I'm guessing these are the books people talk about. I would still recommend any of these books for anyone interested in engine building.
another book that Im going to buy soon is the Auto Math Handbook. I dont know who the author of that book is, but if you guys know, let me know, or Ill try and find out and Ill post back.

I have one of those high performance honda books too. After reading it over and over I noticed that the supercharged chapter is nothing but an installation guide for the JRSC. The turbocharged section is a guide to how turbonetics picked the right sized turbo, and the all motor chapter is a how to put a stock sohc motor together like some guy did for the scca stock class. Not very in depth after reading it a couple times.

I have that exact same book. I have glanced it over a couple times. It seems to be very up to date, but also seems that it isn't as in depth as it could be.
If they made a book that thick called how to tune Honda systems, or Toyota systems, ect. that would be worth while.
There is some good general stuff in there though.
