how to stop my wheels from being stolen???
 

so being very ------ serious how do i keep my ---- from being jacked? not concerned about the car getting stolen, cuz they wont get it, but wheels are just bolted on... what should i do? what works, what doesnt?

Park indoors.
Park yourself closer to the house.
keyed lugs.
Have an alarm on the car. (steeling wheels causes motion)

If you have an alarm the wheels should be prety safe. The lugs that take a specific key to take them off will help as a deterant.

well then there is nothing else you can do really. They won't be able to get the wheels if the alarm is on, and the keyed lugs are there.

but alarms do work tho... nobody likes to ---- w/ a car if they see a lil' blinking light on the dashboard.

best way to not get wheels stolen, is if you are in an area that ---- gets stolen, dont buy wheels till you move out the hood, nig.

How do you get wheel locks when you have ARP 3" studs?

I need them for the backspacing on my slicks.

if i am REALLY concern about my rims(which i don`t :P) i would get 4 different set of keyed lugs, split each set on each corner.
so all 4 lugs will be different.
but that only helps if they are going to take ur rims out at ur parking spot.

get 4 sets of DIFFERENT WHEEL LOCKS

Put one of each type on each wheel. It will take them 4 wheel keys to get one wheel off.

Chance that wheel theif will have all 4 lock keys? low.

i think they will just break the locks, doubt they carry a shiload of keys...


well night one is finished....still have my wheels... but no one has seen them on my car yet... :-\ now off to the car wash (damn my ---- is dirty) and to the tire store (two new tires and some locks)...

if some1 really wants your rims they are gonna get them no matter what, but different keys for each wheel would make them move on

if its that serious just leave your car on bricks everynight.alarms and wheel locks may work but if they really wanted it they could get it alot of thevs out have tow trucks and they do use them if all else fails get a nice glock 9 ;D

highly doubt they will get the whole car...


got a set of wheel locks...but i guess the wheels will come off soon anyway...i didnt really buy them for the CRX, there for the GTI, the CRX has 2 brand new Azenis and 2 50%+ Azenis... the GTI gets the garage.. the wheels the CRX needs will have 25" M&H's on them ;)

Accepting that they're GOING to get stolen would be a start.

Get an alarm with a pager and a paintball gun. Someone fucks with it, it'll wake you up. Your car is an easy shot from the hall window.

This is why my new Jetta will have 16x9 steelies ;D

Seriously, I think we need harsher penalties for theives who get caught. Something needs to happen.

I'm just glad I don't live in an area where I have to worry about my rims getting stolen. Plus, my car gets parked in the garage.
It sucks that you can't have nice things without having to worry about shitbag mother fuckers who can't work for their own ----. I hate people. >:(
