I've found the biggest problem with people stripping nuts (haha, stripping nuts) Is that they dont have there ratchtes set parallel to the nut. As long as you dont have the ratchet at and angle and you have the right size it should always come off with enough force. If you encouter something that just wont budge just spray mad wd40 on it and let it set for 15 minutes and then try.

if its a decent sized nut, weld something onto it..

or if it isnt important just grind or torch the basterd off..

when removing old exhausts i just bust out the sawzall and the torch..

uuhhh-h-h.. my nuts are oval, kinda... but i dunno if id remove them just because they're rounded. :P

if you lack tools.. and all you have are chisels and hammer.. you could try that to remove the nuts.. (oh ya, i'm talking about the car)
