Yeah Maaco uses a paint called single stage paint. it's cheap, easy, and there is no need for clearcoat unless you specify. The single stage has clear coat in it already, so it shines when it's all dry. It might look decent for a few years or so, but it's not very durable and it will not last.
it's the same stuff I use at work to paint boats, tractor trailors, and machines with. I wouldn't go to maaco unless you tell them you want a nice paintjob, but they will charge you for it.

I got a 89 hb maacco did ALL the work on lasted 2 yrs broke out now there is HOLES everywhere. Thank god i wasnt the one that went there.. Overspray everywhere painted the trim in alot of places BAD BAD job
