soem guy from pepboys told me he had a lady bought in a 90 ish camry that won`t start. Dip stick was BLACK and he asked her how often does she change the oil. Turns out she don`t know what an oil change is , she`s been adding motor oil whenever it is low ever since she bought it BRAND NEW and the motor lasted 10 years and finally gave

I try to do it every 3,000 but I always end up procrastinating and ending up somewhere between 3 and 4 thousand.
7,500 isn't a good number IMO, especially not with a regular non synthetic oil.

i used to change mine every 3k miles with synthetic, but now I have since been lagging it and change it roughly every 5k miles. It gets expensive when you have to use 11 quarts every oil change, especially when it's synthetic
My dad's car we change it like every few years. TurboDiesel they need no oil :P

we have a couple at work and every 7 to 10000 we change the oil or earl and the oil in that ---- looks like hell even for a diesel
