how much is to much boost?

thats the plan the end goal is around the 250- 300 number but that seems a stretch i think a better number would be 225-250 to keep boost in the mid teens.

update: first day that sportage run on the megasquirt fuel only. the base map is a little rich but will work on that. works good up to the 7psi of boost. Once I fix the VE map i will push a little higher.

thats awesome when i had my sportage i wanted to make a turbo mud toy out of it. i got picked on for having a kia but it was a fun little toy and stock i could spin the tires into 3rd with a 5 speed. when alls said and done post some pics or a video id love to see this complete and boostin

I finally worked out most of the problems. The sportage runs fine on the megasquirt. Overboost protection needs to be raised. Right now I have it running at 10psi of boost but little by little it will be raise to about 15 if everything is right. The spool to 5psi is instant then fast to 10.
