how much horsepower?

Ok I have a 97 ex and I've added new headers, exhaust system, cold air intake, and colder spark plugs. I want to know how much horsepower I can make before i get ready to turbo it in 2 weeks. Any suggestion? Do you guys think im running about the same # of horsepower as an si? thanks guys! 8)

right now? not at all after turbo yes i/h/e might give you 10-12 hp if your lucky

After turbo at 6psi youll probably make about 160-170 hp to the wheels

Re:how much horsepower?

Why'd you add new headers and cai if you are going to turbo?

The only way to make power on a N/A Civic without building your engine is Nitrous Oxide. I had a 97 ex with h/i/e and ran a constant 17.0 at the track, pretty bad. No way to make 160hp with those components. You could be pushing about 110 or so to the wheels right now. Turbo it and it will be a whole different story.

I just love the blind "How much horsepower???" questions all the time. Half the time they ask with no intention of actually installing the ---- since they dont know the difference between a wrench and thier ass.

With straight bolt-ons you can make some gains but NAAAWS isn't really a NA motor anymore is it?

The civic I had was a D16A6 and they'd dropped D15 pistons on it to bump the compression. Power increase was quite noticeable. There are inexpensive ways to make more power on these motors.

I seem to remember a local guy with a D16A6 - he did the mini-me and higher compression pistons - ZC I think He did some minor head work and intake manifold with I/H/E was dynoed for about 165hp.
