Would mostly depend on what type of condition the pistol is in...If you are knowledgable on how to, it might would be a good idea to take the pistol apart(at least remove the slide and inspect the actual barrel and all) or have the seller break it down in front of you, so you can have a looksee...I don't know about the 9mm, but a Glock .45 brand new, IN MY EXPERIENCE, goes in the $500-$650 range when BRAND NEW. A guy at my work recently sold a NICE Ruger 9mm (he takes VERY good care of his guns, I doubt if pistol was shot anymore than 100-150 times), and with 3 clips and a composite holster he sold it for $350(wasn't an OLD P model, gun was black steel with a brushed stainless, I guess that's what you would call it, slide). I would find out what the particular pistol goes for brand new(pick up a GUNS & AMMO issue somewhere, they usually have price lists & guides in them every so often) and then just go from there....

How many rounds are through it, condition, what generation is it.....In good condition I would pay max $325, $300 would be a good deal to me.

You can get an idea on gunsamerica.com and .........----, there's another site too. Basically it's like ebay for guns. You can also read reviews of it on gundirectory.com, but with it being a glock, I doubt anything surprising is going to come up.

all depending on condition and generation. i just bought a glock 17 with 2 17 round clips and hard case for $390 from a local gun shop but it was stolen out of my house 2 weeks ago. i looked up my serial and it said it was made in 1986 and was the first gen, then i started to think i paid too much. i just picked up a glock 22 3rd gen for 300 from a private party. it's always a good idea to check with local police to see if the serial comes out clean.

Without knowing the original value or anything about it really, I would guess $300. Glocks are pretty good guns and unless it's been severely abused it still holds it's value. I can't stand Glock compacts though.

That website puts a new glock 17 at about 500, and the used ones are ranging 400-600 but some are "special"

why cant you stand them?

the 17 is not rated as a compact tho?

The guy that has it is trying to get me to trade my e-locker for it which sells right now for around $570 so I think it sounds like I'd be on the short end of that deal.

definitely, my g23 went for less than that new, so i'd probably pass if he isn't going to throw some cash in on the deal.

The used ones sell for more than the new ones? I just can't stand them because it doesn't feel right in my hand and unless you have an extension on the magazine there is no place for your pinky to rest....unless you're asian and you have no problems working on Z32's. :1 I wasn't sure if the gun you were talking about was a compact or not, just stating my opinion on Glock compacts. I wouldn't trade if that's what your e-locker is worth. WTF is an e-locker anyways?
