cute girl...marryable.....seriously take that pic down or you will be mspainted to hell.... oh and just do what I did.....set a price limit, go to a few ring shops (not pawn shops, not kmart) and when they ask if they can help you just say flat out "I'm looking for an engagement ring, and I'm willing to spend $xxx.xx" they will show you exactly what is in your price range and it will help alot....

ebay. Dead serious. Some nice finds can be had, but you have to know what to look for. I got mine for a steal (I refuse to say how much) but its a .57 Ct round cut in 14K gold. and its a very nice ring, I had it appraised when I got it and the jeweler couldnt believe what I paid fo rit and where I got it.

I think my wifes wing set, (both rings) was a tad under $4000, but I dont quite remeber exactly. I told her she was only getting the engaugement ring cause I couldnt afford both but then when the dude asked for the marriage band or whatever its called...I pulled the other one out of my pocket.

My fiancee's engagement ring cost $1650 or so, all three of the rings(engagement, her wedding band, my wedding band) come out to $2400 and some change. I'm 27, and she's 17. We're waiting till March to get married because she'll turn 18 and we won't have to have any of her parent's(they're aren't in the picture anyway, but that's the law here in GA) permission. She is due to have my son on June the 26th. She is in her last semester of high school, AND WILL GRADUATE. I know I might get flamed and get called Chester...lol...I don't really care. I have a son who is turning 3 this month(24 to be exact), his mom was a few months older than me and was as crazy as a shithouse rat. I've done ALOT of living in 27 years...I had wild *** parents and I was a wildass young man. My fiancee is by far the best thing in my life, now or ever. Explain to your woman that the money you DON'T blow on a ring can be used for more important things, a house, ur kids(when u have them) education, ur own education, etc. etc. Bottom line is, if ur woman is the RIGHT ONE, she will be pleased with WHATEVER ring you buy her. Not for how big it is, or how much it cost, but for what it means and stands for....that ur content with diggin' her out tha rest of ur life

IMHO there's a good chance she wants a dad and not a husband. 17 year old girls don't know what the ---- they want.
