how much for this crx??
how much would you buy this car for?? i dont want street value, how much would you pay and believe that you got a deal on it??
91 Honda CRX, 1.5 L engine, 16 valves, auto transmission. 10K on Japanese engine. 5K on completely rebuild tranny.
In the 4 years I had this car, it was stolen twice. The last one (feb this year) took me 6 months to recover & put it back together. New ecu, distributor, spark plug cables, rebuild , many countless hours. This is enough for me, no more CRXs for me.
I have atleast 4,000 under the hood in the last year. Alluminium wheels, aftermarket high volume air intake, sun roof (does not leak), I am 2nd owner. 3 new ball joints, 2 new U drive, new front brakes, 4 new tires, new exhaust : all whithin 5K miles.
This car is lowered, will take a corner at 90 mph. Very reliable, taken me from NYC to Mexico city 2 years ago without a hitch, Mexican tags are still on the car. Auto tranny shifts smoothly. Engine is very very strong, accelerates fast, does not comsume even 1 drop of oil. The windshild is broken, the stereo is out of the car (cd, radio), no speakers, no horn, no front side lights, no jack, 1 seat has a rip. I was not able to recover the speakers, jacks from the last theft, got the stereo though. The rust on the both 2 rear wheel wells (very common for CRX) had been removed & metal replaced & welded, it needed to be grinded down, primed & painted. 90% of the car is primed. I lost interest in fixing this car, so it is for sale. This car is ready to go, needs about a few hundred in parts, your time, a good paint job. Under the hood is in very good condition, the engine & tranny is in excellent condition.

Re: how much for this crx??
No there not to bad to do just need to gather all the parts[lots of little ----] and drill one hole,do the wiring etc.I have a complete chassis harness from a 5sp SI CRX that has been in the classifeds here for a while if end up going that route.CRX is the best Honda short of a NSX or S2000 so its worth the work.
