How much is a 92 Hatch worth?
 

Yo I just found a 92 Hatch in good shape with a blown motor. Its got white wheels on it with just a few little dents but overall great shape. Its either a CX or DX with unknown mileage. How much do you think this thing is woth and what would you pay for it?

$400, thats what i paid for my 91 that ran when purchsed

I got my running 92 dx for $500, and now the motor is for sale for $35. :-\


But in general, if it's not running, it's a shell. Bid accordingly.

i wouldn't pay more then $600 but then again it all depends on how much somebody wants to spend on one. it's more like whats it worth to the person buying it not how much it's worth based on blue book. but isn't that the same with everything we buy for our cars? ;D

They aren't. We just have alot of tough guys here. If hotrex could find a shell for $1000 than he wouldn't have paid $6000 for a gsr with cancer. ::)

i could have, theres ------ a million of them here, but i had one, i wanted power everything glass sunroon b18c1, ect ect... im spoiled now, fucjk a hatchback...

my gsr has ever so slight bubble starting on the pass side rear quarter, dude, in new england, trhats a ------ find...... everyhthing out here rusts, and its gettin fixed as soon as it gets nice out anyhow, so piss off steve, btw i payed 5300 for it.

I haven't seen any EG hatchbacks for sale out here in a very long time. There is a 95 EX coupe in the paper for $3200, but ---- that. :-\

I'm reminded of that every time I go outside Steve. Don't need to be reminded when I'm inside. I have two buddies buried in that graveyard so it's really f'd up to even think about it.

What's so wrong with sedans, there's tons of people on here who have sedans. Yes, mine is an autoslut but that's soon to change. Hopefully. and a 78 Mustang II, atleast give me some credit, haha.

Yeah, but you're Canadian.

If I could find these prices like you guys talk about I would be a rich man. If I could buy an EG for $800-$1000 with a blown motor, spend ~$300 on a new SOHC and sell it for $3500 I'd be very happy. Somebody hook me up with these deals.

Paint is faded all over, front pass fender is bent up pretty bad, hood has many dings and dents, quarters are rusting, rest is mostly straight but it is 12 years old and has its wear and tear.

Jesus, why not just set it on fire? I don't think I'll ever buy a car that someone else has fucked with ever again. There could be way too many not so American things done to that heap of ----.

the stock suspension surprises me at how well it performs
but at high speeds it starts to lose control

Well here's the update even though thsi thread has been hijacked and went to ---- but I went to look at the car again today. Its a CX with 150,000 on it with a bad headgasket. The passengerside door has something keyed into it. I only talked to the wife but I got to talk to the husband tomorrow I'm going to offer him $500, won't go over $600.
