How to make a collector/merger.
After seeing a couple of post asking how to do so and end up with replies such as "It's a secret how to make them things, but we can sell you one" replies from a guy representing Burnstainlesssteel, I felt intrigued to do this. I'm fairly new to CAD but manage to whip this up. I'm sure lot of you guys already know this but this is just for ---- and giggles.

if i ever need to make a collector like that i will just chop off the collector off of a sbc header... there is plenty laying around

easy to use ?
its not as easy as working with paint or anything like that. i would compare it to working with photoshop for the first time, with no help what so ever. they have tutorials and ----, so if you sit down with it for a long period of time, you could come up with some decent ----. i was gonna become the next benen. tow hooks, rad. supports, throttle cable linkage, things like that. |

what would you use to cut it at that angle? an angle grinder?

band saw, -hell, pretty much any saw would do it. then grind down the edges to perfection, kinda like a peice of wood. you cut it about 1/8 away from where you want the cut to be, then sand/grind it down to perfection.
