How to lower a car the right way?

I bought a 2000 integra gsr that is completely stock except for tint, stereo and alarm. It is awesome the way it is but it looks like it is a bit too high for what i am used to. I put coilovers on a previous car and lowering springs on one too but they both lost the nice tight brand new stock feeling. Is there a way I can lower the teg just 1-1.5" without sacrificing the great feel?

I've always liked Sprint Suspension. Lifetime warranty. Good people. I've also heard good things about Eibach as well. ;)

cut the stock springs with aftermarket struts. i prefer tokico illuminas. it will keep the nice ride quality, but will handle awesome. and im serious.

you ever ridden in a car with that setup?? rides like stock, nice and firm, but not bouncy. rides good and handles good. plus its cheap.

Buy a good set of springs, and preferable good shocks. I'm running neuspeed race springs (2.5-3" drop) and tokico illumina struts. Rides great, and handles like a mofo.

On my sol Im using Progress springs 2.3 drop. With tokico illuminas. I like it. Firm and handles well. Could use some bars. But thats later.

H&R sport ... or if you dont mind, go RACE. (neuspeed is good too)

Or as Brett said, you can cut them, just dont hack off a bunch of coils, and cut from the top. and besure to trim the bumpstops. but springs are so damn cheap nowadays..

1 tip .. cheap coil overs blow ass, dont waste your time
