That survey was a crock of ----. Unless you are a smoker or engage in some terribly dangerous lifestyle you will be living for at least 70 years, and possible 100. Between 70-100 is a crap shoot.

All my stats courses have made me realize that this survey sucked also. It is so vague. We need some interval level data god dammit.

I was bored and went thru the questions, it came back with 61.

My dad died at age 53, 11 years ago. He was the oldest male on his side of the family for the past 100 years. He out lived the former oldest by just over a year.

I'm 40, I expect to live to 53-54 (---- Social Security!) which means I'm 3/4's of the way done. I accept it. My son who will be 18 in a few months, I hope to see him get married and father a child (hopefully a son) to continue the family name. Have my son become a father in 5 years, gives me 7-8 years to spoil my grandchild.

I'm happy with that, admit I'm mortal. I just don't plan on working till the day I die like my father did. IMHO I've been retired (lost job and about everything) for 2 years now, since Nov. 2004......
