The WRX turbo is a TD04L and is difficult to configure to a Honda.

man are you high?? i'm just saying those STOCK FACTORY turboed cars come brand new with 300hp TURBOED and they break in fine, that's why i'm asking is it ok to turbo it soon after the inital break in.. you start talking about td04l and configuring it.. i already have a RHB5!

How long to wait? Umm, about as far of a drive as it takes to get it to your garage :P

To answer your question, I think the factory does a break in on the high performance stuff prior to shipment. Can you imadgine letting people test drive zero miles turbo cars with no break in period? The warranty department would loose its mind! I would personally wait for a few thousand miles and a couple of oil changes to do any hard driving on a "new" motor. That doesn't mean you can't turbo it, just take it easy for a while untill every thing seats in.
You do know that Honda probably won't warranty anything after you add boost, right? Subaru will zero out your warranty for installing aftermarket exhaust systems they sell in there own parts departments. Auto manufacturers are getting hard core about high performance these days, they dont want you changing anything.
