Me too.But the state of california pays me to stay home.What does that meen?
Well I gave my 2 weeks notice at my job(was their 6 years 8))and they layed me off 2 days before it was time for me to go.That qualified me for unemployment.I get the maximum wich is $1600 a month.. 8) ;D

Just curious, did they lay you off because they were slow, or did they lay you off as a "hook-up" for you?

Were you being a lazy unproductive mexican on your last few days of work? :P

I dont know?I heard from a close friend that still works there that it was because I had "short timers attitde".But I was ------- off the last 2 weeks :P.I called in sick a few days and left early some other days ;).I got layed off with about 20 other people so who knows ???.

just finished 5 years at my "job", which is graduate school. Moving on to a post doc job in the next few months doing cancer research.

a year and a couple months... im a cook at chilis (line cook) gotta love working 10 hours shifts over a grill that is 450* .. its all good though its good money and quite a few hotties that i work with .. plus most of my managers are cool so its no biggy
