Default how long can it sit

Well kiddies my father & son build has come to a stop for now. Not only because of unemployment but my health has turned on me.
What I need to know is how long can I let the new engine sit before I have to worry? Everything on it & in it is brand new and all sealed up
0 miles, just like a crate.

Just rotate the motor every so often and you'll be fine.

If its wraped in plastic, don't wrap it to tight needs to have ventilation or moisture will be traped causing rust.

The more you rotate the crank the worse off its going to be when you start it... I dunno why he would recommend that.

Just make sure you put some wd40 in the cylinders and keep plugs in it. You'll be fine for a few years.

Locate some dessicant, simmilar to the silica gel used in shoes, and include that in your wrapping, it will help absorb moisture. also WD-40 the hell out of it.
