How long can I wait before filing a paypal claim?
 

The guy SEEMS legit, BUT I wanna know just as a fall back... What's the latest amount of time you can file a dispute w/ paypal to get your money back?

30 days. If there is any doubt in your mind, file the dispute now. If he comes through you can cancel it, if he doesn't come through you're covered. Simple as that. It will get his attention anyways.

That's almost where I'm at. The guy USED to be local and still has alot of friends on the local board I'm on, but I'm gettin the classic, "I had a 4 day weekend, and just got back today and it got returned" ----. So... Long story short, I told him to send it UPS tomorrow, with a tracking number, or I'm filing a claim

never warn people your going to do a claim, gives him time to pull the money out of his paypal account and you get fucked.

I didn't tell him. That's just how long he's got, he just doesn't know it ;)

they changed it to 45 days, most people dont realize it though.
