how the hell do you get the o2 sensors off the exhaust mani

and the stock catalytic converter. i have a 96 dx. and i cant break it with a wrench.

for the one pre cat that sits on the manifold, i used vice grips and pulled really hard, once you break it lose it comes off easy after that

^ so you dont unbolt it? you just pull that ---- off?

hahah nah sorry, i mean i just clamp the vice grims on and pull hard counter clockwise

use a O2 sensor socket if it didn`t work.

I've had great luck with vice grips as well as an o2 socket (autozone rental)

heat it up, beat it with a hammer (it loosens the threads) and then get a nice big 22mm wrench on it and ------- own it with your foot. those o2 sensor sockets ------- suck donkey ****.

DAMN, i still havent gotten it. i should take pics of my hands, i got like 10 cuts and bruises on my hands and this ---- is pissin me off like hell. at one point i was pretty sure i broke my finger, but i can move it pretty good.
