this will only work with the old playstation 2, so if you have the new one, punch yourself in the face.

Get your playstation.

Get yourself a hard drive, either 120 gigs or larger. Maxtor or Western Digital work the best.

Take hard drive out of box.

Take network adapter off the back of you PS2.

Plug network adapter directly into the hard drive.

Put the hard drive that is now connected to the network adapter in the expansion bay slot on the back of you playstation.

Get out your HD Advance or HD Loader disc.

Hook up your playstation and insert the disk. You can get the disks at www.consolesource.com in the ps2 mod chip section. They only take a week to ship.

Pretty soon, you screen will look like this.

All I do is rent games and save them. The only drawback is that not all games are compatible. For a list of compatability go to www.ps2hd.com. Also, don't use the reset button anymore, jsut the power switch. Any questions, post them up. I'll be glad to help out. Oh, and yes i know the pics are somewhat big, I'm too lazy to resize them.
