how to get IE7?
 

anyone know how to download IE7 with an illegal copy of xp? i have access to a computer at work with a legal copy of xp, could i download it on there and then transfer it to my computer?

its available all over the place, but you have to have a legal copy of windows to be able to download it

Does it actually install the WGA software, or what?

My copy of XP is not valid, but I have just not installed WGA so I still get security updates.

you can bittorrent a student version of windows no activation, but just get firefox, they are almost the same

Windows Genuine Advantage software. It is the thing that scans for your activation key and then nags you if it is not right.

I have read a couple reviews of them head-2-head and everyone selects the newests firefox still. I can't say that I have used IE for anything outside of updates for years.

I downloaded IE 7 just to try it out, and its a rip off of Firefox, and a bad one at that. I'm by no means saying its not a bad update; its a ton better than the old explorers, but still not up to par.

ie7 is 100000000000 times better than the older ones, no one should hate for using that
