Might sound like a noob rant saying I want to beat this guy but it isn't, just a question out of curiousity?
I have a guy I know who works at my mom businees. He own a bone stock 87 Vette Conv. Everytime I go to visit them on coffe break he rags on about how his vette will beat my car. I'm not saying it won't, I'm just curious to see if he has a right to talk smack or not.

So in the end. How fast is a 87 6spd Corvette Convertable in the 1/4 mile?

"New for the 1987 Corvette was roller rockers in the aluminum heads. 99.9% of the car was carry over from 1996. 0-60 times were down to 5.7 seconds. Quarter mile times were 14.6 and top speed was 150mph "

Found this on a Corvette Collectors page. I've already beaten that and still plan on turning up the boost, tuning it better, and putting my slicks on!

not very. my uncle has one and my cousins stock mustang beats it everytime. so if you can beat a 99 stang, im sure you could take him.

Wow, really, My friend had a 98 GT Stang Conv. Headers, Exhaust Shift Kit. That thing was lucky to hit a 15.4 on a Perfect Condition day!!

my cousin ran a flat 15sec many times on "street legal drags" as we call them at home. so 14.6(stock rating) and 15sec...that .4 could be lost many ways...i would race him if i were you, from the way it sounds....and video that ----!

---- no. if you think you could even hang with him...meaning he wont stomp you into the ground, i would ask him when and where he wants to race, go out there and show him what you have. im sure he will have a little more respect for you after the race is done.
