how does this setup sound?

jdm d15b p&p head 3 angle valve job w/ jdm d15b cam
vx d15z1 block (heard it sthe best r/s ratio, someone fill me in here)
either dx or vx tranny
tubular manifold (ssauto)
intake manifold (obx)
t3 turbo
390cc injectors
vafc
POSSIBLY
msd btm
msd 2 step
some msd box and blaster coil and dizzy camp
spark plug wires

i want to be in the high 13 second range on good tires and around the 200 hp mark

so how does this setup sound

dont go SSAuto you want a good manifold either order from the site supporting HMT or go to South Florida Performance.

OBx ---- never fits, so be carefull. only get it if your not spending much
get a SI trans, it's faster.
if you do end up using the SSauto then brace the ---- out of it and welf it up good.
---- the VAFC, get Turbo edit, it's free and a burner with chips shouldn't run you more the 100 bucks.
get 450cc injectors.

Don't forget that you'll want an intercooler unless you're running like 5 psi. and I mean a good intercooler. Your timing retard is enough from the distro I never had a problem with timing. You can get Onyx to chip your ECU for you for probably $80 or so so that it will run with 450 cc injectors and be ready to run.

Damn Onyx 80 beans, I should start doin that ----. lol

I don't know how well tuned it will run though so you will still want the VAFC. I would recommend just doing the AFC hack honestly.

Re:how does this setup sound?

of course its gonna be intercooled, i just didnt see a need to write that, im hoping for about 10 psi, and the ss autochrome manifold is no worry to me, its the new style that is braced and i have acces to a 220 mig welder, so if it cracks there wont be much of a problem, and as for the intake manifold im getting it for 100 bucks and i sure as hell hope it fits lol as long as the flange doesnt warp on me that doesnt scare me either.... yeah i'll probably go with a si tranny once i get the money. does this setup sound 13 second 200+ hp worthy? i havent learned enough about chipping the ECU to mess with that first, the way i see it im going to build up,i started with fmu, now im going with the hack, then i'll go with ecu chipping. thanks for the input and info guys

Chip your ECU for awesome fuel management that is safe and makes the best power. AFC hack will cost 3 to 4 times as much and not be as good, it is worth learning about. Why not do it right? Get a real transmission, SI or Ex, No Dx or Vx, Dx sucks, Vx sucks even harder. They don't cost too much more(SI/EX).

Re:how does this setup sound?

YEAH, it doesn't take much time to learn how to chip your ecu. it's easy, the hard part is tunning. but the upside really outway the down sides. all you really need is some time with a wideband 02 sensor, or a dyno. and you can tune perfectly for your setup.
