lol

you guys are funny, what could be THAT wrong with it...

buy it for 250, spend a couple bucks and have it balanced. if it needs it...

make sure all the bolts are tight... um what else is there... the metal its made out of is magically not as good as the same metal other ones are made of.

The castings could be rough as ----. I don't know what kind of wheels are on it but they could be very inefficient. The bushing can be made of shitty material.

When you can buy a used garrett or turbonetics turbo and rebuild it for the same price, I would rather go with what I know works instead of a turbo that nobody knows anything about except that they come unbalanced.

Have you been locked in a closet for the past couple years? ??? Jesus, I've seen more than a couple posts about those piece of ---- turbos. Tightening the bolts aren't going to help anything when the pile of ---- isn't balanced. Right Stan? :P

You might as well rebuild it with quality seals/bearings while you're at it. By that time you already spent $500 on the turbo and it's still a piece of ---- turbo. You could have spent the money on a quality turbo and not had to deal with it. I don't like the idea of havbing to balance and rebuild a brand new turbo. :-\

While we're on the subject of ssautochrome, their (junk by popular opinion) manifolds look just like OBX manifolds for sale by others on eBay, are they the same? And if they are, is all OBX product junk? Like their gauges, etc? (I've seen some good prices for OBX boost and A/F gauges.)

OBX has nothing to do with SSautochrome from what i have seen. they are a company that makes parts teh right way. as for there manifold i just bought a miata turbo header from them and it is nice. it will be a 90% bolt up on my escort seems i have a mazda motor.
