Re:How do you guys install your body kits.

It depends upon the body kit and what sections you’re installing.
Bumpers are pretty self explanatory; you need to drill the holes appropriately so that the bumper will line up with the fenders and hood or quarter panel and decklid.

The side skirts are usually screwed into the fender by the front wheel, the back is typically screwed into the quarter panel dogleg area. The middle that goes down the rocker of the side skirt can be taped on. I've seen some use urethane and I’ve even seen some use screws on the inside of the door seem which looks like ----.

So cliff notes since I remember most of you here on HMT are illiterate:

Bumpers bolt on after drilling holes

Side skirts screw into the front fender and quarter panel dogleg.
Middle section can be taped, screwed or urethaned if you want.

Good enough? If you need to alter the kit to fit and do fiberglass work that’s a whole diff set of instructions opposed to the install.

cmon guys, the person is asking a valid ?... no one wants to take the time...(ass holes if you ask me, but they got good imput- for some odd reason).
- 3m tape is too line up and straighten your kit.
- door caps usually have a clip in the inner door that secures the door cap to the door,i.e= remove outer door molding and replace with clips provided with your "quality" kit.
- screws are only needed if modifying or no clips included, tapping and covering of screws is then nessasary for clean job.
- try to hide screws if possible, take off the door panel and try to adhear the door cap to the trim hole- DIY parts and inginuity from your local parts store.

the tape will help hold the kit on and you can leave it on under the caps and skirts. but take extra messures to secure your shiet so it doesnt fall off.

i dont have a BK- but i've put plenty of them on and even fixed the ---- that the ricers break on parking stops and speed bumps so dont try to say the kit iself is gay- say the dumb fuckers that try to race and wreck are the ones that got the attention drawn to us in the first place. race responsibly, whether it be all show, or all go!
respect him for his choice of looks and prefrences of honda power, just remember we need to beat all the other crack heads that think they are fast. my crx n/a can hang with gst's- but i dont have a fancy rear end for them to look at as i leap a few car lengths. ride around in the red . and as rev hard puts it- rev hard.....or dont rev at all!!!!
i slapped a gst last night-with the T.I.P. of my d!>K
and stopped to tell him he was slow....hahahaha
