How do you change front wheel bearings on a CRX?

My haynes only shows directions for the rear of the 84-87 models for some reason. Anyone know of a writeup on how to do this or can tell me step by step what needs to be done? My wheel bearings are shot and need to be changed asap. I had planned to do this on wednesday if I can find some info on how to do this.

This is for a 1991 crx by the way.

Thanks guys!

im pretty sure the bearings need to be pressed out of the knuckle. but im not positive on that.

you gotta take off the whole hub assembly and "press" out the hub and bearings. you can do it with a hammer but it's better off left to a shop with a good press.

how to change CRX wheel bearing by "turbohf":
-go to junkyard and pull a front spindle off a 88-91 Civic/CRX... make sure its not an HF or 4speed manual or a wagon (think they are differnt?) unless thats what you have... make sure tis the correct side too ;)
-go home and pull your ---- off...
-put the "new" spindle on the reverse of how you took it off...
-grab a beer (or cherry coke ;)) cuz your done y0! :-*

you have to take off the knuckle. and take it to a machine shop and have em press it out for you. although i have done it before by hammering it out and putting it back in. only because i was too cheap to take it to a shop. i will be changing the wheel bearing on the other side tomorrow. shouldnt take too long ;). although i could do a write up. but im a lazy mofo and just want to get ---- done ;D . i may go out and do a victory photoshoot :P

I know I have to use a press. I have a hookup on that end. I was wondering what was involved in teh removal of the knuckle itself. Never done any suspension work before. The only thing I can find online is a blown up picture of the components. What is the lock ring you speak of? I'm tackling this in the morning. I'll be taking step by step pictures as well, and possibly making a writeup afterwards.
