Go to the doctor and get it stitched up. Tell them it hurts so bad you can barely walk on it and get some pain pills. Pop a few loratabs with a few shots and you'll feel gold. I remember when I cut my palm open down to the bone. Was about a 2.5" slash a good inch open. The "meat" from inside my had was flopped outside. I was just looking at it thinking "ah ----, that looks kind of cool". Everyone else was freaking out. It was at work and they made me sit in a wheel chair and roll me around till someone gave me a ride to the hospital (company policy forbid me to drive). The dumb *** manager on duty put cotton ***** on it and wrapped it up. Cotton ***** + open wounds = a big no no. It took them forever to pick all the little pieces of cotton out of it. Ended up getting 4 stitches inside and 4-5 outside.

My oldest son's mom(certifiable crazy bitch) threw a die cast toy train car at me one time...caught me right above my left eye splitting my eyebrow clean open. It bled like a m'******, but when I finally got it to stop bleeding I could literally see my skull. It was that deep and probaly a quarter to a half an inch long. I wasn't working at the time and didn't have any health insurance, so I pressed that bitch together the best I could, and put a band-aid across it as TIGHT AS POSSIBLE. I still have a scar but it healed up really well. Scarface ftw.

Looking at the pics and being a medic, from the looks just make sure you keep it very clean and irrigate it with preferably sterile water. If you did'nt get stiches or in your case they would have almost CERTAINLY used dermal glue (jb weld for lacerations) within 4/6 hours then they will not benifit you unless the wound continues to reopen. it will heal regardless, any kind of sutures, glue, or anything used to keep that kind of cut closed is also asthetic based, meaning makes the scar smaller.
throw some dirt on it, suck it up and drive on hoooha!
