ssl2k - you said that this girl meant everything to you, and that she dumped you. i had the same thing happen to me with my first girlfriend. it will take a while, but if you think about it, unless she went from nice gf to total bitch... she prolly wanted to do it earlier.
you might find out if you sit down and think, the little hints that you could tell she wanted to break up, or was not as much in love with you anymore. you were kinda like a toy. when you were new, you were lots of fun and she always wanted to be with you, but when you got older and she found some flaws, it just was not as fun to be with you. now she is looking for a new toy.
you can tell this by if she gets a new bf right away.
all i can say, take this however you want, but you will have to move on eventually.. and sometimes.. the things you move on too are much better.
