i build cellular phone towers. the work is great in the summer but usually end up getting laid off in the winter. sometimes its good but most of the time bad. can't be afraid of heights though

I'm an instrumentation tech. Most people say, "What the ---- is that??" I always tell them what i do, and their still like huh?? Anyways, i build industrial control system panels mostly for the oil and gas industry. Normally i build PLC (programable logic controller) and SCADA communication panels. The wiring gets pretty crazy because their are literarly hundreads to thousands of wires that have to be connected perfectly without any room for error. Before i got this job i was pretty shitty at wiring up stuff, but now i think i could build an entire custom wiring harness for just about any car in less than 2 hours.

I work at Arvin meritor Exhaust. My group runs a manderal bender. other jobs in there run benders up to 4.25" pipe. long hours, boring, and when I am done there I work at Pizza hut too. Inormally make more money at pizza hut delivering pizzas in 4 hours then I do in 10 hours at arvin.
