just to add to the paiting them it does add weigth to the hood windex does work to clean it makes it look nice but still fades... as to the clear from autozone thats so cheap my friend did it to his man it look ridiculous... double sided hoods are real cool and pricey and yes there like about 500 to 600 and still fade trust me guys i sell lots of hoods to be honest the cheapest hoods i sell are the best the clear last the longest ---- almost a paragraph

That part is very, very important. You do that, you'll get a CF hood with some shades of brown in it

omg worryed about the weight paint would add?! thas insane that would make like .000000001 time diffrence in a quarter mile.. if your that worryed about weight strip your interior run some laps get a fuelcell. ect
