How to clean...

My intake manifold is getting pretty funky, it has crud on it that I cannot get off.

I've used carb cleaner, i've pressure-washed the ------- thing. Any other products I should try?

Re:How to clean...

Pull it off, and take it to a media blaster, and request that it be glass beaded... it'll be niiiiice and clean after that... also, you should either clear-coat it afterwards, or get it clear powder-coated. If you take it to a powdercoater in the first place, they'll bead blast it for you... just some thoughts. ;)

Re:How to clean...

spray wheel cleaner on it,
It eats oxide etc. almost everything and then wash it of with water and put some degreaser let it soak for 10 minutes and rinse

I don't want to go through that much trouble, I just want to spray something on it and make it look half decent. I will be scrapping it for a billet aluminum version later when money allows.
