hahaha... I am black, the other OG black guy on the site (blackdragon) well I guess I'm just a really dark cambodian, but that is black. Just like they say, what do you call a black cambodian? Khmnigga. Get it? Khmer=cambodia nigga=well you know :P

friend of a friend with an h22 g2 teg built his own sidewinder like manifold. his upper rad hose caught on fire, as did his alternator. hood caught on fire eventually. so he went carbon fiber and cut a huge hole out of it.

ok your paint is gonna ---- up from the heat. it's gonna get very small about 1/4" long and a couple hairs thick cracks. it happened to my hood a few months after i installed my header. especialy if your car doesn't have the insulator on the inside of the hood.

You should really feel how hot it's getting. My hood gets kinda hot more like very warm. It's just enough to steam at a stop light. It's been this way for almost 2 years, no bubbling or cracks.

The insulation on the hood sounds like a good idea. Just get some of that stick on shinny stuff. It should be at any parts store. If that doesn't fix it then get some of that mani wrap. That wrap looks like crap in my opinion though.
