Honestly, I think it just looks a lot worse than it actually is. If I fixed the headlight, front bumper, side mirror and put some hubcaps on the beast it wouldnt be half bad. Some subtle blue underbody neons would really be nice too.

Holy ---- do I have a story.

Got packed this morning to visit my parents for xmas in SC (I'm in Alabama). Me and the fiance drive her prelude to Marietta, GA to get the car. Picked up the car. Transaction went smooth. Car ran better than expected. It's got a CEL light, shifts a little shitty sometimes, no biggie. Me and my volvo and my fiance drive her prelude, headed to SC.

Right at the ------- halfway point between ATL and the final destination, I hear a noise coming from the engine bay. 5 seconds later, all the dash lights light up, but the engine continues to run normally. Temp gauge starts going up, then BOOM something pops and smoke shoots up everywhere. Can you say ----? So I limp the car to the nearest exit (about 5 miles) and part at a McDonalds in bum----- SC..or GA..or something. So I pop the hood and find out its just the water pump/alternator belt. Makes sense. So I walk next door to the convenience store to get directions to a parts store. She doesnt know where any are. Take the lude to a hotel and get directions to where a parts store might possibly be, so we go there.

YAY, found an AutoZone. Went there and bought a new be;t and some hand tools. Things are looking up. Drive back to the car, got the new belt on lickety-split. Started filling it up with coolant, yay coolant is falling on the ------- McDonalds parking lot. Life sucks. Realize the radiator broke at the filler neck. Drive back to the AutoZone.
Well the bad news is a 940 radiator is $338 but the badder news is, there are none in stock. Ok so I get the guy to look upa 740 radiator and its like $170. I figure they are about the same so I buy that and some more tools. Get back to the car - ---- i need a flathead. No problem, the convenience store will have one. Nope. ----. Back to Autozone to buy more tools (just as they are about to lock the doors, mind you). Ok, got more tools, get back to the car and the 740 radiator fits like a glove. It's perfect. ---- autozone for wanting $200 more for the same radiator. I got the radiator in, filled and bled in like 30 minutes because I'm the ------- mack.

Drove the rest of the trip ~3hrs with no problems other than the car running uber cold. Gonna put in a new tstat, air filter, yada yada tomorrow here at my parents house. Technically I'm at my little brother's house. Huge HDTV, surround sound, Xbox 360 and tons of games. Tomorrow I'm installing a BOV and raising the boost on my older brother's piece of crap mechanical-injection turbo volvo.

Merry christmas ----------ers!
