well yeah you won't put an engine in for a dollar, but you know a hundre bucks for a single cam isn't oo suspicious being that it's a honda. And just have them write a reciept for a hundred, even if you paid more. It's a budget project, your expences should be to a minimum

I say '89 hf w/a B18, a bunch of boost, and some springs, sway bars, and brake lines. Then if you're good with FG or ABS plastic or some ----, make some light weight aerodynamics, and body parts. I think solid motor mounts would be nice too. And remember that lightness is your friend. There was a guy from redpepperracing that built a similar setup and ran somewhere in the 11s. And I think he only used like three non OEM parts, and it cost him like $1000.

I am really open to what kind of car im gonna use. I have found a fre RX7's really cheap, around $1100 cheap, with suspension set-ups, some engine work, and a roll cage.
a turbo or a 4bbl carb set-up isnt to far out of proportion.
I also know where a 87 integra Brown top, ZC is for a few hundred dollars in a junkyard, with good compression test results, i might pick that up...
I know where a merkur is, the 2.3 ltr, turbo engine that is bullet proof. Turn the boost up, spray it, and dump the 300lb seats that are in the car, and i think it would have some potential.
humm...

Also, there is an 89 HF down the road from my buddy for sale, they'd probably take $100 for it. Needs some work, but if you sold the engine/interior you'd more than make your money back haha. (yes, im trying to buy it buy my parents arent liking the idea too much)
