Re:hood wont close

Is it hitting somewhere?

Try matching the bolt heads with the marks in the paint where it was bolted before.

Is it just the latch?

remove the can of oil :p

ok you removed it but is the hood aligned correctly? If its not where it was its possible that it wont even latch.

try using the remote release for hte latch and see if it pops the latch open again for it to receive the striker.

Also check to see if you dident leave a tool or socket along the fenders or soemthing, waht kid of work were you doing to your car?

Also... Make sure that the handle to the release is pushed back in all the way.

mine did the same thing too...try pullin back on the hood release and then have someone lube up your hood release cable while your holding the hood release, then pull it a couple more times, lub again, pull again
then try closing it 8)

Re:hood wont close

ok check it out. loosen the bolts that attach the hood to the car. not soo much though just enough pressure so the hood doesnt move around without force. close thehood and adjust it until it hits the latch. pop the hood and raise it slowly so it doesnt move then tighten the bolts. worked for me! ;D
