haha, you went old school with lines coming off the side. I'd like them with just a pin, though. Also, don't remove your stock latch, it would be way too easy for someone to get your hood open and have a field day

agreed, you should fix your stock latch before you put the pins in if you have anything worth wild in your bay

when i did mine there were two rubber pieces on the hood so that it wouldn't vibrate against the radiator support and i just took those out and drilled where they were.

The easiest way to mark the hood (after the pins are installed) is to use bubble gum or something similar to stick on the inner hood approximately where the pin will pass through. Then close the hood to put an impression in the clay, open the hood then use a punch where the impression is to mark your hole. BTW for some reason on my civic install, my pins are somewhat angled toward the rear to allow for the hood to open and close without touching. I did this by tapping on them with a mallet.
