theres nothing fun about riding a bike that cant even get out of its own way. so eone i know had one and it couldnt do a wheelie even clutching it in 1st. that just shows how sackless it is.

underpowered bikes are dangerous. you need enough power to be able to get out of bad situations if they arise, and without shifting down 3 gears.
rebels are garbage. they are one step up from a scotter.
if you buy a zx14 and never open the throttle its just like any other sport bike. its not even heavy.

i bought a gs500e as my first bike, only payed 1200 for it. Its great on gas and insurance is cheap as hell, 200 a year. its fast enough to out accelerate anything at lights. any one can go fast in a straight line. it takes some one who knows how to ride to control it in the curves.
