I never realized they were lighter than a CRX...

Removing the battery pack and all that hybrid garbage would probably make it even better.

How much aftermarket ---- is usable on it

It should look the same. The prius body was designed to be aerodynamic... it's hard to achieve that without duplicating the shape.

is that true about the original insight? i always wondered what the shell weighed in comparison to the eg shell. wonder what that hybrid drivetrain can be swapped into... isn't it a d-series engine?
