I live under a landing strip for the Air Force base. I don't even notice planes going by anymore.

Not at all?? I've worked about 2 or 300 yards from an airport for the last 4 or 5 years, and there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't stop and watch a plane take off or come into land. Sometimes we get a special treat, like one of the big military planes letting out a group of paratroopers(there is a national guard armory right next to the airport) or a BLIMP. I get to see those quite often as well. Some ppl might not give a ---- about that kinda stuff, but I'm easily amused...

Sometimes I notice it when I'm talking on the phone, but I've lived here for an accumulative ~15 years. So by now I guess it's completely toned out. If I drive down my street there's usually 4 c-17 globe masters and that's typically what flies in so I can assure you it's not for a lack of them being loud. Sometimes it's crazy to watch those things fly in as slow as they do. It looks like they should just fall out of the sky.

That bullshit is nothing. Anybody ever been to MCRD San Diego? The airport is right ------- next door to the base, I stopped noticing it after my first few days there.

These people need to get over it or move.
