Honda Meet

Is anybody here going to the big honda meet in Lansdale PA(moved from Ben Franklin Bridge). I was thinking about going but I don't really feel like explaining to 200 some kids that I didn't buy my turbo kit, I made it. There might be some cool cars there but chances are it's just going to be stickers and "JDM" turn signals.

God if you want. I'm sure the majority of the people you meet will be the complete tools you talk to on the wb(mostly HT), but without the distance and disguise of the web, they'll most likely be 'normal' people. If you don't feel like explaining it, then don't. Tell them no, or to ---- off. If you're car is there for show, and you put that kit on there then they might give you ----, otherwise who gunna knock ya for it? Some douche with a 'JDM beginers driver' sticker on their car? ---- them.

I was planning on going, but the weather doesnt look to hot at this point. We'll see what it looks like when Sunday rolls around.

Dont hate on the H-T riceboys as a complete group...there are certainly plenty there that know much more than you or I about what you think you know.

Agreed totally.

The majority of them I talk to know nothing, but a lot of them want to learn. Its like a beginner board...you find out what you want to get into, and then branch off of there to somewhere more specific and somewhat technical (ex: HMT). I mean, they do have some informative stuff, but its rare and a bitch to find.

I've personally met a lot of people through it about stuff I bought, and all of them were cool (minus one -------) and I still talk to them online sometimes. I think going to their meets are cool though. Why not get out the HMT word and show people they don't have to fork out all the money for a greddy kit when a home-made one will make even more power. Its never bad to ------ the word and get some local connections. The deals you can find through the vast honda-tech network is not bad at all. I wouldnt diss them as a whole, i'm sure plent HMT member also visit HT.

I'll be there and my friend matt (loserkidwac on here) is going in his multi-colored rex. If your local, head out to it, something to do on a rainy day at least.
