Default Honda Head Valve Spring Compressor.

Well its time to be assembling my head tomorrow, However I know that the standard size valve spring compressors are way too big for a honda spring and they dont fit the head very well, the spring keeps slipping, how do some of you guys do it?

I use this valve spring Compressor. Works for d-series heads but for B-series you have to buy two adapters.

This is just a cheap one from sears I think its like $30 bucks. If its a d-series head it will be eazy with one like this.

when i did my a6 head we couldnt find a peice that fit into there in the kit so i took a socket that fit good and split a section down its middle to be ablke to put the keys in.

Yep, that works perfectly!!!!!!!!! I had to buy mine at Advanced Autoparts. 2 hours messing with my old V8 compressor, less than 1.5 hours to change all 16 springs ON CAR with the modded one listed above.
