Honda Accord 2006 Prototype... FACTORY TURBO

Re:Honda Accord 2006 Prototype... FACTORY TURBO
I belive that Honda will always do well, turbo cars or not.
But I'm sure that a good portion of those people who are buying EVO's & WRX's would have bought a turbo Civic or RSX if Honda was producing them.
I would say that equates to a loss of potential sales.
If Honda introduces a turbo sport compact with a gas engine (in the U.S.), it will "boost" already good sales figures.
No pun intended.

well honda makes awesome technology of engines and i bet some people can agree with me of that. The s2000 is only a 4 banger and it exceeds most of the v6 engines and matches v8 here in the domestic market. I bet if they want the can produce even greater amount of horespower engines if they really wanted to so there is no need for a turbo charged car

I agree that Honda makes some of the best engines around, but they're already making around 100 hp per liter.
You can get more reliable power out of them through refinements in technology, but mostly through displacement increase. They could just keep putting in larger engines, who knows.
People just like turbos though. You know...The way it feels when boost comes on.
I don't know what's parked in your driveway but you're here on this site for a reason...Same reason as the rest of us.
TURBOS.

wow. I've seemed to offended you much stretch-d. I didn't ment in any way that I dont like turbo cars. I said they didn't need to turbo it to make it faster. With that in mind I WOULD STILL TURBO THE CAR just i would like the car to have hight stock horsepower. Maybe i wasn't really clear about what i ment but you were unclear of thinking i didn't like turbo cars.

I know you like turbo cars, I know this because you're on this site.
I love Honda/ Acura & it sounds like you do also. I understood that perfectly well from your previous statements.

That was Japan & then. I'm talking about the U.S. & now.
The U.S. market is ripe for a turbo Honda/Acura...Don't you think?
That is if they pay attention to what's going on in the aftermarket.
