Homemade Single Turbo Questions

Hello, I’m kinda new to this forums thing so I ask that you bear with me. I own a 2010 Camaro SS (LS3) and want to go big turbo. I would like to fab up my own turbo kit, but before I jump into work I have a question. 1. How should I route the headers? I would like the turbo located on the drivers side facing forward (for looks mainly) and I don’t know if I should have the passenger headers wrap and intersect to the drivers header or what. I would also like the exhaust dump to be on the drivers side hood so that shouldn’t be a problem. Ive also thought of having them intersect under the car into a “Y” pipe, then bringing that to the turbo but I don’t know if that would create any issues with pressure on the motor and things of that nature .If you guys/gals have any ideas or tips to help me that would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Best way to avoid stress from a crossover tube is to add a slip joint or good quality flex coupler. This keeps the thermal expansion from pushing on the tubing. I'd support the turbo with a rigid mount and use one flex coupler per side.
