Homemade GSXR Exhaust
6 Attachment(s)
The first time I found out my bike had a cat on it I wanted to chop it off. So I finally got around to doing it. Here's the stock exhaust and cat:
Attachment 18122 Jig'd up and cut: Attachment 18123 Mocked up: Attachment 18124 Final product: Attachment 18125 And finally mounted on the bike: Attachment 18126 Attachment 18127 Definitely sounds a million times better. It actually has a sound instead of like a corked up motor ready to explode. I also took 10lbs off the bike and saved $500 from buying an aftermarket slipon that gives the same performance gains. I really liked the look of the stock pipe so I'm glad I don't need to get a gay looking slip on. Also since I sold the cat to the scrapyard for $20.00 I actually got paid to do this. There's also nothing like a homemade exhaust. :y That is all. |

Slipon's only gain like 3 to 5 Hp so I think any gains are in your head since its tough to tell. However it did seem to smooth out the thottle more and it does seem a little quicker. Definitely better than stock hands down |

Definitely better than stock hands down and you know that it's running really lean now and will burn itself up if you don't put a dynojet programer on it to ritchen it up and with a slipon and velocity stacks i have seen dyno proven 10+whp but that was with someone doing a dyno tune no just a programer |
