Fits like a charm!!! http://www.tsplant.com/uploads/files...er piping1.JPG http://www.tsplant.com/uploads/files...er piping2.JPG Dont laugh I hadnt removed the old Intake pipe here http://www.tsplant.com/uploads/files...er piping3.JPG http://www.tsplant.com/uploads/files...er piping4.JPG |
Re:Homemade Charge pipe Install
i really like it! looks great! But Im a little confusedd at the last section where the larger pipe from the TB connects? what the heck is going on there??
I would also paint the pipes. even if its the same colour as they are now. That alumanized piping will rust FAST! last thing you want is a piece of rust falling off into the intake tube and being sucked into your engine. |
Re:Homemade Charge pipe Install
thats Just where I hadnt removed the old intake tube. Its one of those gay GIANT ones hardly fits in there between the battery. I was eager to take pics sorry :)
never thought about it rusting hmm I guess Ill give it a shot of paint then |
Re:Homemade Charge pipe Install
yah, most people use SS mandrels so they dont have to worry.. but exhaust piping dont last long. Plus it will look better 6 mo from now. colour match it to your car? cant hurrt to have a little show w/ the go.
n/m black car. lol |
Re:Homemade Charge pipe Install
buy some black high temp paint and give it a fat dose... but it looks good.... and at 10 bucks you cant be that with a stick.... mother ------- shops around here charge an arm and a leg for anythign custom. I bought 2.5in pipe and found some 90* elbows in the trash can so im just getting 2 j pipes bent for the downpipe and the throttle body connect.
wish i could have just ordered one from you... but it probably would have come out the same price, after shipping and what have you.... but looks good. |
