I just said that because I've never seen proper tig welds break or leak, but hell if mig will do the job then get it migged, just make sure whoever is doing it is good at what they are doing.

I've seen tons more broken TIG welds than MIG welds. Its becuase the welder tries to make pretty welds with rainbow colors and hair thin beads to impress people on the internet and sacrifice weld strength so the internet can go "wow they look soooo JDM and cool"
Any ------- can make a strong MIG weld, so your better off MIG welding it.
