alright welcome to today's home made beef stew from scratch.

Attachment 10169
alright first off you start with good ol handy pot.

Attachment 10170
lay out all the ingredients and make sure you have a cutting board.

Attachment 10171
basiclly it's 2 cans of corn i bought for 75c and some steak rub for $4.50

Attachment 10172
Mushrooms $1.85, Tomatoes $2, Beef cut 2 lbs $5.50, whole onion 70c (i bought alot).

Attachment 10173
bel peppers 2 green and red ones and $4, 2 lbs green beans $4

All togeather i spent about $24 of stuff material. but you'll see for yourself

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/blade8r/f6.jpg
Oh yeah don't forget my personal trusty knife i pretty much use for everything.

Attachment 10174
cut the whole onion into small pieces don't cry like a bitch like i did.

Attachment 10175
don't forget to cut the bell peppers too. you may want to cut them smaller then i did. they were rather large i have to admit.

Attachment 10176
throw the minced onions in the pan. heat it up full blast, i threw some garlic while i was at it just for the hell of it.

Attachment 10177
stir untill it clears or at least till they are up to heat.

Attachment 10178
throw in peppers in the pot.

Attachment 10179
let that ---- warm up

Attachment 10180
throw mushrooms, green beans in -

Attachment 10181
and Tamotoes all in at the same time. now its a good time to crush the ---- out of the tamotoes so the juices flow into the whole pan and eveyrthing. it's also a good time to throw in some steak rub just for some flavoring and such.

Attachment 10182
wait till that ---- warms up and changes texture and then it'll be time to throw in the meat.

Attachment 10183
Toss that ---- in. add more steak rub.

Attachment 10184
looks good huh

Attachment 10185
right here is when the meat is all cooked inside and the fulid is mostly water from the beef but that ---- taste good.

Attachment 10186
now i just threw 2 cans of corn in that concoction

Attachment 10187
mixed that ---- up even more and bon appetite.

i usually eat it with my rice seeing how im a ching chong ----------er but that's just me.

oh yeah the steak rub is just regular steak rub seasoning. it isn't anything special. but generally it should have salt, black pepper, dill seed, red peppers, garlic and paprika.

best ---- i've tasted is kirkland steak rub from cosco.

but good luck for anyone who wants to try my ---- out. taste real good.

potatoes are kinda hard to cook. require lots of lots of boil time in a pot for them to be tendered to be edible. i think i took me a 20 minutes to cook everything in the picture. potatoes are nice but geez they are a real pain in the ass to get tender.

I made this the other night with potatoes but no corn, served over rice. It was super tasty, and I now consider it a regular recipe that I'll make 2-3 times a month.

i know it's the ----. the seasoning actually goes Quite well with the stew. the extra stuff just give it a punch the way it needs to taste.

i guess ill try out the potatoes again. I'll see what i can do to modify the taste.

Word of warning: I put in a lot of black pepper, I love the stuff, but this is a dish where a little pepper goes a long way. I couldn't taste it in the broth, but the flavor cooked into the meat and veggies. Season light and put more on your individual dish is my recommendation.

really? because i usually can taste it heavily in the broth the way i made it.

but yea the taste of the beef really sits in the stew you can taste that. ps i love the peper too i usually throw in a jalapeno or 2 in the concactuion and it makes you sweat when you eat it. good ----.

Re: home made beef stew

if you want to make this infinatly tastier make a gravy to smother the stew in

mince up some of the meat.. toss it in a big ass poy with some oil in it.. stir very fast till the meat is cooked and just before it starts burning.. add flour in and stir FAST add half a stick of butter if you want... keep stirring.. add a lil milk.. keep stirring.. follow blade r's recipe (dump the ---- ontop of the gravy)

this ultimately will give the stew a meatier taste.

also i know you just tossed everything in but you need to work out the order of things... ittl make the taste stand out alot more.. like bell peppers should have went in last.. same with corn...

green beans should have gone in somewhat first. or right after the onions.

also its almost always tastier to fry the onions.. or roast em in the pot with some oil before you add the rest of the ---- ontop of em.

I floated my stew in beef stock, so it might have diluted the pepper taste initially.

here you go stupid piece of ----...

http://recipesonrails.com/recipes/show/89-beef-gravy

but thats a nasty version + its not as meaty as mine because they say use beef stock

---- that ----

just mince up some meat and fry it that will get out all the flavoring toss in butter and flour and MIX FAST and add REAL milk not powdered milk bullshit

picture that picture in the link but with all your veggies and ---- in it

Flour makes things taste pasty, fuk, not meaty.

Most gravies have fat or drippings in it, consuming floured lard pretty much makes me want to vomit. You can keep that sort of thing to yourself. :3
