It has a backup. I'm so glad I don;t have to worry about ---- like that. I have enough to worry about. I don't want to have to worry if my car is going to be there when I get out of the grocery store. :-\ __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

I need something that launches eggs. my car has been egged 3 times, I want my car to be able to get those fuckers back. whoever it is really sucks at throwing or they don't like my wheels, all three times they hit the tires.

Re: Home brewed Security
I didnt read it, but theres nothing like a classic "throw a busted spark plug at a window trick" and bam, your in.
not any different than a house or anything else for that matter. That deadbolt would be a good idea, but I dont think it would prevent break-ins that much. :-\ |

It's just to slow them down and try to prevent thefts. If there was a cure-all to thefts everybody would have it. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re: Home brewed Security
I would imagine it would be a pain to try to rip stuff out if you could not open the door.
|
Re: Home brewed Security
i heard if you crush the white part of a spark plug and throw even the smallest piece at a glass window - it will crack it??? anyone have an experiences with this?
|
Re: Home brewed Security
Best way to not have your car broken into or stolen:
Live in it. Buy a gun and just stay in the car. I really want to set my car up pretty and go park in a bad neighbor hood. Hide behind a tree with my shotgun and just wait for the fuckers to come over... I've been busted into 4 times now... |
Re: Home brewed Security
You have broken the window, alarm starts blasting, you cant open the door, cant open the hood to kill the alarm.
How long are you going to stick around ? This still does not stop somone from towing it away. :o |

Re: Home brewed Security
its somewhat true. dont remember the details (cuz i've never done it) but there's somethin in spark plugs that has chemical reaction to glass and really fucks it up hardcore
|
Re: Home brewed Security
Its a cool idea since hondas are realy easy to unlock with a slim jim, but couldent you made somthing that sent out the same frequency as the solinoid to open the door. I know it seems overly elabroite, but you could make somthing with variable frequency range that could scan through ---- real fast to unlock it. Kinda woner about people doing that with factory electric door locks. It would be like password cracking but doesnt seem like it would take as long. and you could have like 10 going at once using diffrent signals until you saw some lights flash on in a parking lot and youd be in. no signs of forced entry or anything.

if i find some punk doing ---- like that he'll get a spark plug in his forhead |
Re: Home brewed Security
the spark plug trick does work, quite well actually.
many years ago when i was like 15-17, i used that for every time i wanted access to a car (cd decks, subs, amps, cd's, etc....) what you do is grab a hammer, break the porcelin (white part). anything the size of your pinky nail should work. the key is to take the pieces that have a lot of broken ridges, NOT the finished side (shiney). you want to have more surface area that is the rough area's. it is vertually silent to and instantly "spider webs" the glass. and there was only one window i remember that i couldnt break with it. a year later i found out that it was a plastic window. |
Re: Home brewed Security
remind yourself how cool you think that is when the guy smashs your window out and slides in all "dukes of hazard" style and hot wires your car anyways. i don't see the point.

NEUMAN Its the prince of thieves with the tow truck you won't be able to stop. You won't see the point until someone Jacks YOUR car, but a Ford Escort isn't exactly on the top ten list for car thieves. |
Re: Home brewed Security
well news flash for you. got my car broken into just 6 months ago. top ten that honda guy. you think cause i drive and escort im all stealth? even with all those goodies ---- will get jacked period! may not be the whole car but say goodbye to any stuff laying in it.

what makes it crack like that its cuys the porcelin resonates the same as the glass, so when iot hits the glass it makes the glass resonate and shatter. doesnt matter how thick the glass is. if its glass, it will bust it. i even won a bet with someone that said that i couldnt bust a 1 inch thick piece of glass. the ---- went right through it. its fun too cus it is almost silent. |
